Welcome.  I am the Democratic candidate for Illinois State Representative for the 90th District .  I believe that elected officials should be accountable to those they serve.  I pledge to represent the people of this district with honesty and integrity. I pledge to be a voice for small business and hard-working people  throughout this changing district.  As a small business owner I understand the challenges facing small businesses in our area of the state. 
 
   I propose:
                     Sales tax free days targeted to basic needs - such as gasoline, school supplies
 
                     Credits to small businesses that create new jobs - up to $5000.

Get your boots on! It’s getting deep in here. The Telegraph writes an editorial ridiculing a Democrat politician. Todd Sieben and Dennis Hastert both won their elections in 2006. Not once during their campaigns did they inform the voters that they were going to quit. Siebens even stated in his resignation that his objective was to keep a Republican in the Senate seat. I learned that Jerry Mitchell is selling his house. "Duh!!!!!!"

Winning a political office and resigning and selecting your own replacement has become a political strategy by both parties and I don’t condone it—no matter who does it. It costs us money and representation. A vote is too valuable and too important to impart to someone's personal and party hidden agenda.

It is the obligation of the newspaper to ask the same questions I am.

The Telegraph has written several editorials recently stressing the need for our elected officials to be accountable to their constituents. My whole campaign has been about accountability.

I think it is important that a representative be just that—a representative of the people of the district. Like the people who live here, I have an investment in this area. I own and operate a business in Dixon. My livelihood and that of my family and my employees, depends on the economic conditions throughout the 90^{th district. I own a home here and pay property taxes. Four of my 5 children live in the district. I still have one child—a special needs student—in the school system. My daughters and their spouses work in education, nursing, social services and law enforcement, which gives me a good view of the concerns and challenges in these areas. I feel that my commitment and investment in this area, makes me the candidate best suited to represent this area.}

If the unsigned Telegraph editorial staff is really that concerned about Mitchell's lawn., I'll buy you some boots to mow it in .What I won't do is pay for the gas because I believe that you will have to travel way out of the 90th district..
